I think there's only ever been one version of NOBY - unless there's an orchestral version somewhere, which seems to have sprung to mind for some reason, but I could be thinking of something else...!

You're right about an orchestral version Fickle. That was the WWRY singer (Kerry Ellis?) in the studio with Bri and Rog. They released it earlier this year.
And of course, there is an in-between version that is directly from the WWRY show but still retaining some of its rockier elements.

Yes, given the master tapes, I expect someone could. Do you think Brian would oblige? Otherwise, it's a stab with something like Adobe Audition's Centre Channel Extractor, which will sound totally crap, unless someone far more adept them me can make it work better. If there was a 5.1 mix, it might be possible, but I still doubt that there would be an isolated vocal channel.
