If you listen to Somebody To Love from the Queen Live At The Bowl Milton Keynes concert, he expertly slips into the track on quite a few occasions.
I does warrant the question when was this recorded?
It may have been in the vaults for years but saved for use until that final perfect moment so everybody can look back and say genius one last time.

Just noticed Freddie even included it amoung his vocal improv with the crowd at the end of Now I'm Here, just before Dragon Attack on the same album.
Gets a great response form the crowd, he must have been aware of how this track would be loved when it was final allowed to grace an album.

I think we can safely assume that 'Yeah' was the one Queen song performed live the most over the years than any other track.
I've even heard Freddie do it during interviews. Does anybody have any idea exactly how many times it was performed?

It's mislabeled - the actual title of that is 'Ohhhhh!'
It's very clear to me now that this is the one track that Freddie cared about the most during his lifetime.
Just think about it, he recorded it on several occasions. Allowing it to sneek out on albums throughout his recording career as the only truly hidden track in the entire Queen Catalogue of Queen CD's.
I mean how easy was it to find Track 13?
He tested the track at every opportunity during his live performances. Coming to think about it the song Lost Opportunity might well refer to the 1983 gig in Dorog where he regretted not taking the chance to test it out on another new audience.
Many times he tried out different variations to see how well each went down with the Fans. Often it was a tough decision so he repeated them one after the other to mark the subtle differences in the fans response.
Only on the first album after his death was the masterpiece finally revealed to the public in all its glory, without the distraction of Brian's Guitar and Rogers Drums to keep the secret hidden. Although I think Roger was in on the plan. ( See may reference in the beakdown of the MIH Album to Roger's penned song "Heaven For Everyone").
If you listen carefully to the very start of track 12 you will also hear a little bit of Rogers drums which I believe was his way of saying ok we have hidden it for years now is the time to stop hiding it with drums and reveal the masterwork in it's purest form.
There is even the hint in the track listing of Made In Heaven. Why is it that we have 2 versions of It's A Beautiful Day on the album. It must be obvious to all that this indicates the release of the album was only a tool to point to the masterpiece. It truly was such a beautiful day when the album came out and the masterpiece had finally been revealed that they had to say it twice. More evidence :

Let Me Live - The track begging to be released.
Mother Love - The love of Freddie's life. Note the references to older Queen tracks that no doubt track 12 was hidden away in. Even the famous live DaHoos are mentioned.
My Life Has Been Saved - Now the track is out true peace can be achieved knowing the public can hear it in all its glory.
I Was Born To Love - A nod to the fact it was his life's work. I am still curious to try to track down Freddies first workings on this track. But I guess we won't get this until the long awaited box sets are finally released. I might have to revisit the Smile tracks to see if there are any early recordings that we may have missed.
Heaven For Everyone - This came out originally around the time of Freddie first telling Roger of his plans and Roger thinking why wait get it out there and and let everyone hear it. Only once Freddie had gone did Roger transfer his feelings from his own work into the Queen domain, when he could finally reveal the masterstroke.
Too Much Love Will Kill You - Unfortunately it did, a lifetimes work finally achieved but not around to see its glory. Brian had clearly tried to warned Freddie during the miracle sessions but he was to focused and driven to stop and take notice.

These are the two tracks that I find difficult to fit into the concept of the album. But I believe he was such a genius that the reasons for theses being included will only be revealed to us when we have all achieved divine enlightenment.
It's A Beutiful Day (reprise) - as described earlier the hapiness was flooding out at this point and gives another hint to the true meaning of the album by focusing the mind on what is coming next.
Then it comes in all it's glory...Track 12. YEAH
And then track 13 Freddie taking his final trip in the knowledge of a job well done and happy it see the masterpiece has finally been given to the public.
It all becomes so clear now.
