Brian said that that song was supposed to symbolize Freddie's spirit.
So I was kinda thinking that it was made after he died..
don't i know you from the cinematographer's party? who am i to blow against the wind?
You do have a point. I recently got Made In Heaven and when I heard that, I thought my CD player was broken. Then, when I was putting Born To Love You on my MP3 player, I saw that it ended. 22minutes is a stretch but it is a good sound.

good question.i never think about it.
the logical one is good to think, but it does not to live
I thought it was an incredible track - the first time I heard it, I thought that if the span of Freddie's life and energy had been recorded in sound, that would be it.

Also, thinking about it now and considering that Brian is an astrophysicist, and thus knows that all matter is energy vibrating at different frequencies - I think he may have been thinking along the same lines.

Consider the running time: 22 minutes, 36 seconds. If we take that 36 seconds as just over half a minute and double the minutes and seconds together, we get just past 45, Freddie's lifespan. I think this whole song symbolizes Freddies life - 30 seconds for each year. Crap, I know what I'll be listening to when I get home.
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!

Shit, I'm right.

Freddie lived exactly 45.222 years (81 days past his 45th birthday).

The song's length is 1356 seconds or 22.6 minutes. Double that, and you get 45.2.

Spooky. I'm gonna go cry now.

I suggest sending this to Brian's site to ask for confirmation. I'm sure he'd respond as it's the kind of thing he'd like to elaborate on. Interesting

Well if this track symbolizes Freddie's spirit, he must be very bored right now...
