Russia's Ballet Russes starring Vaslav Nyjinsky ann Anna Pavlova used alot of his music.
His music is also used in Walt Disney's film, ''Fantasia''.

Yeah, we have good ballet. Maybe that's the only good thing we have along with space ships, AK-47 and me.

When I was a young girl, I had tons of books on the art, history, architecture, and culture of Russia.
The greatest Ballet dancers and choreographers came from there.

Boris Pasternak (who wrote Dr. Zhivago!)
MANY greay composers such as:
Rimsky Korsakov (I LOVE Shaherazade!)
Tchaikovsky ( I Love The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty Waltz)
and yes I am NUTS over.....
Vaslav Nijynsky, Anna Pavlova, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rudolf Nuryev, etc.
Also, every winter Olympics, the Russian Singles and Pairs Ice Skaters are the BEST ever!
