My Cover Band

I'm a fan in Wisconsin and 3 of my friends and I started a (Queen) cover band. Our origional name was "Team Queen" but we changed to "Princes of the Universe" although I admit that it is unorigional.

I kind of want a new name and was hoping to get some input from other Queen fans.

We also chose a title by Queen, but got rid of the "The". So, now we're called "Miracle".

Is the "Team Queen" one taken because two of the 5 of us are bent on it. We also are just 3 16 year olds, 1 15 year old and a 17 year old in Wisconsin so I doubt the origional princes will never know.

In any case, we just want to make some music. Like freddie said, "Its only a bloody record!"

I once read some music book and noticed that they said Queen's last album was called 'Intuition' (supposed to be 'Innuendo') and I always thought that that would make an interesting cover band name.

Having read your profile, I'm a bit disturbed when you claim to have Freddie's soul in your body... yeah... not cool to joke around like that, man.

"Queen's Phoenix Five"... or just "Phoenix Five".

While I was in school, I told John, our guitarrist and he thinks princes is better but his second choice is the The Invisible Men. Our Cross Country coach thinks Team Queen is cool.

A brilliant idea would be to quit claiming you have Freddie's soul in your body. Really, if you want to be taken seriously that'd be a great step to take.

And honestly, if Freddie could inhabit one person, why you? Of all the people in the world, of all the fans, why *you?* Just because you listen to Queen like an addict takes heroin does not mean you have some special bond with Freddie Mercury. Sorry, but it's true.

I like the invisible men, others that sound alright are 'The Good Old Fashion Lover Boys', 'Sheer Heart Attack' and 'Headlong'.

It is very hard to choose band names, you want something just right, i've been in a band for 6 months now and we still don't have a regular name.

OK, fine, I changed my profile. It was an inside joke from school bedause my CC coach thinks because I always have queen during practice, He said Freddie's soul helps me run. If you saw me at conference, you might agree

I am the singer/keyboard/strings(violin viola & cello) guy. I sound more like roger than freddie so you decide.

We have 2 guitarrists, a drummer and our sound man besides me.
