In my personal opinion, Freddie is, was, and will always be the best frontman of a group. NOBODY CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM HIM. I love McCartney and Lennon, Jim Morrison, Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, Steven Tyler and Sting, but they cannot touch Freddie's voice.
At the FM Tribute, people had to change the key signatures, because they could not sing at Freddie's level. Robert Plant, as great as he was with Led Zeppelin, even commented on how hard Freddie's songs were to sing.
We all miss Freddie, but thank God there's the music that this man and his friends created. God Bless You Freddie!!!!!!!! Take care and have a wonderful day everyone!!!!!

Indeed he has the greatest rock voice of all time. But the real thing about freddie for me is his incredible carisma. No one of the namnes mentioned in this thread even comes close.

Absolutely. Definitely. Certainly. Undoubtably. Yes. I agree. No question. Absolutely. Oh, wait, we've done that. Yes, I think so too.

I concur, Freddie's skills with the crowd can be likened to a god.

actually I conducted a survey on a forum I go to and people voted Freddie #1 greatest frontman. If you want to see the countdown... here's the link

Alot of people who should have been on there weren't and alot of people should have made it alot higher... but most of the people I was surveying are between the ages of 12 and 21 (and that becomes obvious when Amy Lee and Billie Joe Armstrong appear on the list...).
btw, John Lennon wasn't on there because people were saying the Beatles had no specific frontman so we didn't include any of the members.

Boy are you right about this one! No other rock star is on the same level as Freddie when it comes to live performance. Mick Jagger is just to silly, the way that he bops around. He just lacks that majestic
quality that you see in Freddie. And Robert Plant's high voice hurts your ears when the volume is up too high.
