On the German TV special that has highlights of the Hammersmith '79 gig there is an alternative version of the video for "Flash". It uses different soundclips from the film and it also seems to be a raw version with countdown into it from the studio where the video was filmed.
Where is this from? Why the alternate version? Is it an early unreleased version? A special German version?
Anyone have any idea?

Hi! What is the documentary?! I didn't hear about it! I only have seen Music Box with Munich '79 extracts. Very interesting!
Its on a ancient bootleg video I've got. Probably be able to get it on DVD these days from the usual circles...

38 mins i think. I think it has 7 songs from the hammy 79 show. Pretty decent qaulity. If its the vid you're talkin about, it also has the AOBTD vid too in it

The music box special from Munich '79 is something different. It is a 44 minutes long video wich features parts from the rehearsal (Fat Bottomend Girls with girls in bikini's) and it features 7 songs from the Munich concert, and a interview.
BBC has also filmed parts of this concert, but these are very well hidden in the archives.

This version is on a 2 dvd set i have called rarest flix
But does anyone know why the "Flash" video is different to the normal one?
