There shouldn't be a famous actor to play Freddie. I wouldn't choose a famous one, too dangerous. Johnny would be perfect indeed, but... you have to think of him AS Freddie, and to do so, you have to get rid of each and every memory brought by the actor himself.

I honestly don't believe a film about Queen should ever be produced. Too hard to cast. No one, as far as I'm concerned, could ever play someone like Freddie. He's to unique.

Though Johnny Depp could definately come close. Maybe Tim Curry (I say this only due to Rocky Horror Picture Show)
