I'm not going to get dragged into a slanging match, I wil just say that to say that I respect freddie is an understatement - he is my all-time hero. I love him and his work to the point of obsession, so much so that his picture is the biggest and most prominent on my living room wall (and my wife didn't complain - amazing!). I merely believe that doing a short comedy skit about someone is not a hanging offence, or even offensive. Afterall, mimicry is the highest form of flattery. How many other musicians are being mentioned, let alone imitated at a global media event 14 years after their death?
