LOL KingMercury! Trouble is I just bought it a few months ago :-((. Thanks so much anyway.
Serry, I did try converting mp3 files to wav. I can play the files but when the phone rings they just won't start playing and the Nokia ringtone comes up instead. I assumed the files had become too large for the phone to upload.
Any suggestions?
Shit! And all my friends said the Nokia 6600 was a good phone!! LOL
I've heard of these real tones or something. Are they in mp3 formats too?
Thanks guys

You're so nice, Barry! Thanks so much for taking the time to post this.
What I would really love to have as my ringtone is an original Queen song, not a midi file. I did try with wave files. I had, for example, the harp part of Love of my life taken from the Eye. I converted it to wav and it was rather small since it is just 2 or 3 seconds. I uploaded it to my phone and it played all right. So I selected it as my ringtone, but when I got a call LOML wouldn't start. The Nokia ringtone played instead. I suspected the wav file was too large for it to handle. What do you think? I think it's a hopeless case...LOL.
Thanks so much again! BTW if you don't have the Eye I can send you that small part of LOML if you like. I think it would be perfect also for sms alerts. I did try that too, but in that case I simply heard no alert at all :-(((.
