Roger uses the wood made ones. He usually turns them round and is hitting the drums with the back end. That and the fact that he is very sensibly controlling his sticks is astounding! I adore his style and I think he's the only drummer to do so.[/QUOTE]
Plenty of drummers use their snare stick reversed - Roger is by far not the only drummer to do this.

Here is a pair of Roger’s Signature sticks that I have - from memory I think these may be a 5A
He used to play Premier CC sticks, so naturally when I started playing I went out and bought them, when they seemed to disappear from the stores years later it was a real pain, I was slightly surprised when I saw he switched to 5B Vic Firth becuase they are a lot bigger and fatter, however they are really nice to play with and I found they gave me less blisters.
