Certain insects.
Spiders, centipedes, thousand legers, Daddy Long legs, and especially.....a bug indigenous to maryland called an earwig, that looks exactly like the terrifying monster in the Vincent Price horror movie, ''The Tingler''!

- any sort of big insect, i don't mind little ones but anything that is bigger than it should be freaks me out and i get all spazzy and paranoid and have to check everywhere for spiders...ew..
- i'm not very good with lifts or any other small spaces for that matter, the last time i went on a plane i had to get tablets from a doctor to calm me down.
- empty swimming pools - don't know why
- getting up and collecting an award or something, i hate going up in front of everyone, freaks me out like hell!

Which is to say I can be really close with a guy, I like him so much and everything, and I can go so far
but when it comes down to actually doing anything I totally freak out and get scared and run away.
This is usually followed by being called a little tease and a totally ruined relationship with someone I really liked.
So lately I haven't even allowed myself to get to like any guys that well cuz I don't want to ruin our freindships.
Wow. I don't believe I'm telling you guys this.
I feel so ashamed.

I can fix this. Sex-a-phobia. No problem.
Wait...you're fifteen? Maybe this sex-a-phobia therapy can wait a few years.

Spiders, wasps. That's about it. Funny though, I love heights and injections, lol.

I have a niece who gets hysterical around spiders and bugs. I saw a BugVac in a gadgets catalog and bought it for her a few years ago - it was about $50. Beth says, "It's the best damned birthday present I ever got!" It sucks the bug up and electrocutes it. Now she can get rid of spiders without having to get too near to them. The catalog dropped the BugVac, but I see on the internet, the product is still out there, with some variations. Beth's has a rechargeable base. The $10 ones (not officially BugVac) look like they operate with batteries. It also looks like they have industrial-sized BugVacs for pest control on crops.
All I want for Christmas is ..... a BugVac!
