Is there a place or website where we can donate to live aid?
My US history class did a fundraiser and we voted to donate it to either brest cancer or HIV. HIV won and so they all turn to the resident Queen fan and ask about live aid.
An actual place would be better but if somone could post a site that would help.

Live Aid was about Ethiopian hunger.
Live 8 was about third world debt.
Plus Live Aid was 20 years ago, so the phonelines may have closed.

I live in the US, in Wisconsin and HIV isn't a big issue here. Its not like we have an AIDS clinic.

Of course you don't! We all know that the U.S. of A. (and especially Wisconsin) is God's preferred country, so full of goodness that the HIV-virus simply can't affect it's good citizens. In fact, the only HIV-positive person in the USA is Magic Johnson, who through God's personal intervention hasn't developed full blown AIDS.
Dream on.

Can you imagine if they're not? If somewhere in Wembley's dusty basement there's an old lady sitting there, staring at a phone, praying for just one final call so that she can keel over and die? Set her free Queen Of Wrestling! Ring the phone that will stop her heart forever!
ps. Yes, I know that Wembley Stadium has been torn down, and I also know that the original call centre was not in the basement. But did YOU know that Bob Geldof shagged Princess Diana that day in the 3rd level handicapped washroom?

I didn't know about the Geldof/Diana-connection, thanks for pointing that out. But did you know the old lady on the phone is still clapping her hands to Radio GaGa, wondering when the blazes the song will finally end?

Fair enough, for a moment it sounded as if you think AIDS is not an issue in the USA. I hope you realise it IS.
If you wish to contribute to an AIDS-fund you are not limited to local options, there are many opportunities tot do so online.

In WI, mad cow disase is more of an issue. I know about Ryan White's story but other than that, I've never heard of anyone other than homosexuals getting it.
Looking at the jar there's a good $280 in here so could someone give me a website?
