My cousin Adam, who was like an older brother to me when I was little, finally came home from Iraq. He surprised us all today by showing up for Thanksgiving. Now there's no more of my family in Iraq (my other cousin, Heather, got out about eight months ago). My mind is finally at ease. It just feels so great to see him again and to know he's safe. He had a lot of stories to tell, it was very interesting. I am just so thankful.
