Considering the man was never alone, I guess he just said "What time is it?" a lot.
Some loner on a site about the simalarties between Freddie and Micheal Jackson pointed that out. He didn't really wear one. Neither do I.

I read someplace that Freddie did not like to wear a watch. Nor did he ever carry a wallet,etc.

Yeah he said once he never liked carry a wallet he would ask whoever is with him to get the cash or credit card out....
