His story sounds pretty convincing. There have been numerous recordings discovered that had been "lost" for years so it's not really surprising. I'm really curious as what the exact setlist would be. I'm hoping that they played some songs from their first album... maybe The Night Comes Down or Jesus perhaps? :-)

I like the way they are two friends who know Queen and their history pretty well (othwerwise why would they be discussing the Ewell gig)and one suddenly remembers that his dad was a friend of a bass player from a line up that pre-dates Ewell and had recorded a gig too - I guess a little fact like that must have been too trivial to mention previously in the friendship bewtween two Queen fans. Classic.

There's no need to upload to prove your validity.

Show us a picture of the reel-to-reel tape or play it over the phone to someone - to just prove your side of things.

Yesterday I've talked with my cousin... And you know what? He told me that he's Greg Brooks and that I'll be able to spend whole weekend in Queen Archive! ;)

Well, after Ewell story - I don't know what's real and what's false in this world...

That would be great, if it's true (I doubt it is)

But if you could tell us more info like... sound quality, setlist or something writed in the tape cover, it will make your tale more reliable (when will you you hear the tape?)
