I do not like the term "he-she." It is incredibly disrespectful. I am a female-to-male transgender person, thank you.
I'm still pre-op and pre-testosterone so I'm very much still considered female. I'm just astounded at how much I've changed in 10 years.

... No I do not have "nads." My body, children, is female. My mindset is male. That means my body and mind do not match. That means I have a condition called "gender dysphoria."
Sex is between the legs, gender is between the ears. Sex is male, female, and intersex, and has to do with your chromosomes, genitalia, hormones, etc. Gender is man, woman, boy, girl, androgynous (gender-neutral), etc., etc., and has to do with your internal sense of self and how you express yourself.
I hope to one day get chest reconstruction surgery so that I'll have a male chest, then I'd like to start injecting testosterone (T) into my system which will put me through the puberty I feel was robbed from me when I was 12. As far as "the surgery," there are different kinds for trans men (female-to-male) and trans women (male-to-female). I only feel the need to pee standing up, so my surgery will not include testicular implants (unless I decide I want/need them).

I hate to tell you all, but trans+ people who opt for hormones and surgeries are not altering their bodies for your sick entertainment. It's such a fucking shame that we just have that need to find comfort within ourselves!

As for your gender, race, creed, religion or sexual orientation - I really don't care. It is your life, your choices. If you feel better in blue, wear blue. If you feel better in male - wear male. It really does not affect or touch me at all. (And neither it should - as should also be the case with all your private business!).
However, as a stickler for keeping records and details - do you think you have the right (a philosophical question - not an argument) to change your birth certificate - as some transgender individuals believe?
My own view boils down to a very strongly held personal 'belief'.
That is, I do not think anyone should be allowed to arbitrarily change a legal document as I think this could lead to chaos. I think it slowly opens a door to fraud, confusion and anarchy.
Regardless of what you think now - you were born female, and a birth certificate is a legal document - a snapshot if you like - of your original gender. To change that documentation from female - to male, to suit your current mindset is, I think, wrong, as your current mindset can never reflect 'what you once were'.
I would be really keen to hear your thoughts on the subject, as I know that some transgender individuals feel very strongly indeed about this issue.

You can still use it - but it would be more academically correct if you attribute it to J.K. Rowling.

I wouldn't change my birth certificate so I can be stealth (the post-op trans equivalent to the closet). What makes my birth certificate fraud is that it has my female birthname and sex. What's between my legs does not define me and, though not legal, my name is Alexander. It's all a matter of comfort also. And plenty of guys I know who've altered their BCs have said that there's nothing on there saying "THIS DOCUMENT WAS TOTALLY CHANGED! OMG!!!11" They just get a new one as if their old one was lost in a flood or something.

I'm 100% male, too. I think what you mean is that you're a bio(biological) male. I need chest reconstruction surgery so that I can have a male chest and look like the person I know I was meant to be. Some guys don't feel the need to have any surgeries or hormones, and that's okay. But I can't look in the mirror and appreciate my female attributes. They don't feel like a part of me and never have.

My mother is attempting to understand me. Just when she makes a little progress, she takes about five steps back. So she sort of fluctuates.
My father found out from his girlfriend. He and I have never spoken about it but I know he absolutely hates it and hates me for it.
I'd have to say the majority of my friends have been really cool about it.
Fortunately, I can say that in the time I've been out as FTM, I have not been beaten up or harrassed by anyone or kicked out onto the streets!
