it's not graphics (well, it's not called that) it's called art, and im suppose to be working on my major work in class, but i couldnt be bothered, so i do graphic stuff.
i do general maths (it's really easy. its maths for 12 year olds. and im 17)
ancient history
extension history (which is where you learn about "what is history" and how to write history. it's really boring)
advanced english
extension engish (which is where you just read more boring books, and write about them. once again, boring)
thats all. we have to do a min of 10 units. each subject is worth 2 units, except extension which are one each.

cool. so you do all the manly classes (especially that advanced algebra...oh!). the max of classes we have in a day are 6 (5 are an hour long, and the 6th one is an hour and a half). however, i never even have 5 periods a day. i always have 3 or four. i have about 20 frees in a two week cycle. it's so sweet.
we dont have any of these credit things. unless you count the units. thats just how many hours of work you have do to in the year.

Well heres the best I can do
1. Elementary School- grades Kindergarten-5: Kindergarten is all about learning to read and write. Mostly Basic skills. By 2nd grade, you're able to write pages of work coherently. By 4th you are expected to be able to write long like 5 page essays and 5th is mostly preparing for jr. high.
2. Junior High/ Middle School- grade 6-8:
Well, now youre basically drilled through your adolescent years, expected to mature a lot between 6&8th grade. Most of school is general stuff like Math (either transition to college or Algebra) Social Studies (General American History, WWI-II) Sciences- Integrated, mostly just intros to high school fields.
3. High School- grade 9-12: Heres where you have the most freedom. You are required to get 3 credits of English, 3.5 credits of history 2 credits of Science, 2 Credits of Math, 1.5 of Phy Ed, 1 of health and 10 elective credits like Consumer Auto, art, you know, classes you want.
High school also offers a 8th hour to be put at 7 am (school normally starts at 7:55) That is for over-acheiving people like me.
If you take a 7 hour day and pass, you can graduate with honors.

you start school at 7am? my school doesnt start until 8.45am (most days, unless i have a free first, which is quite common) that's weird! however, i have to get up at 6.30am because my fucking train comes at 7.30. it's so gay.

The only problem with that is the same as all big cities, its a dump. While theres a commercial section, surrounded by the light residential area, once you get outside of that, its a lot of slum neighborhoods. Though once past that, theres a bit of rich houses.
