Anyone know if this concert (a great one of course) will ever make it to DVD?

Seriously? Have watched the VHS and listened to the live CD quite a bit. Never got opportunity to see his solo tours would have loved to - so are the recorded versions not a good reflection of the tour?
Often seems to be the case that the released versions are not the best gigs from the tours. Didn't see any Q+PR, but heard that Sheffield was one of the poorer gigs of the tour. I still like it.
When do we get a Works Tour gig?????
This can't end well.
Live at the Brixton is a very good reflection of the BM tour.

I've been to several concerts, and they were very good. Brian's vocals were ok, and the band played very well.

The '98 tour was also good, but not as good as the BTTL tour. I know a performance was also tapd for release, but somehow it never did, possibly due to the low sales of AW.

Hopefully after we get a SHA, ANATO, ADATR, NOTW, Jazz, and another Magic show.

Not a fan of The Works tour, then, Sir GH?

So what's your point? Aren't almost all released shows edited and overdubbed?

If a Works concert will be released, it will be a concert from 1985. And the 1984 tour is much better, I wonder if any concert from that tour is completely filmed, I believe not.

Yoy want a live show? Buy Wembley, the Bowl, ROTC of Brian a the Brixton. all shows that are more tan 95% live.
You will never get a fully live untouched show, no artist these days would put one out, protools and the like are always going to be there to amend the sound a little.

Speaking from the point of view of a musician, you always want your recordings to be as perfect as possible, and often on the night you are too aware of the fact it is being recorded so you tense up just a little.

Even Queen would be aware of the additional expense they would have to go to in order to get a second show filmed.

We hear alot about them filming every show but more often than not they just have one or two cameras, certainly not the 14 plus crowd lighting as used in sheffield, people also mistake the stage cameras as film cameras, when in reality they are there to provide a feed to the sceens for the audience.

With the quality of the live recordings available now, no one would buy an untouched-up version you just wouldn't be happy with the sound, and they have to be mixed again anyway for the master version.

I don't think a 1984 gig was filmed. I'd love to see the full Milan show with Great King Rat and Stone Cold Crazy:-D (I still don't know if this was the first or the second night they played in Milan in 1984).

I have the CD and Live At Brixton is a great album. I would like to see it out on DVD - perhaps in time... lets face it who would ever have imagined a Night at the Opera DVD !
