...as it is now Friday, 12:16pm.
I am at my desk for the dying minutes of the working day. Queen + Paul Rodgers is on the CD player, I am surrounded by colleagues, marvelling at the music, and stealing wine from my stash in my filing cabinet.
"A very Merry Christmas to you all". Hope to catch y'all real soon.

Orthodox Christians (Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian) celebrate Xmas on January 7th... But in recent years we used to celebrate to Christmases during two weeks - yours and ours. Probably we just need good reasons to celebrate something!

No, It's just because now we have more religions than just orthodox. More and more people chose another relligion. Well, Merry Christmas to everyone!

OMG, Russians everywhere...
No, I think this is because we want to celebrate something else (how about Old New Year? Another one reason to drink!). And you know it as well as me - we celebrate "their" Xmas as "our" own. This is not because there are so many non-Orthodox Christians in Russia!

:) Yes, you are right as well -Russians love to celebrate something for the obvious reason. We both know it very well. :)
But Russia, we're friends now. I mean, sure, we spied on you, covertly killed hundreds of your comrades, fought wars with people you subsidized...
BUT MERRY CHRISTMAS COMRADE!

I hate to contradict you Serry, but I have never in my life seen a Russian who needed an excuse to drink!
