Sad to see Freddie's private videos and memories being made so freely available to any Tom, Dick or Harry. Not too sure he would have appreciated such personal footage of him and his friends filmed within his own home being distributed like this, especially as he was such a private man. Don't really see there musical relevance to Queen.
Maybe I'm missing the big picture, but I'm sure most people would be mortified too see private videos being uploaded to an unknown public audience.

You might be right in some way, but lets think about all those demo's that recently surface... Do you think Freddie would have liked them to be "on the market" ... Like I said, I am just sharing a little bit more than what has been available up till now ...
I respect your opinion, but in general after more than 14 years, do you think it's completely inappropriate to share a 30 seconds clip? I know it's private video, but many has been on recent documentaries anyway ... and it does make people smile or be happy to see some of the real freddie

The demos though have a musical significance to queen/freddie. They are either early copies of the final product or material that has been for some reason discarded by the band.
As for what has been shown in documentaries, apart from the ridiculous Freddie's Loves, which I personally think stepped over the line and would have never been given the go-ahead by freddie or the band, nothing has been officially shown which invades the privacy of freddie and his closest friends. And what about the others in the footage? Would they agree to there memories being uploaded on the internet?
I think on this occasion, mainly as it was video taken from within Freddie's home, i think the material is a little too personal.
I am glad though that you can respect my opinion and I think it is great that you share to make people happy. So many share for the wrong reasons, quickly venting there anger at the lack of thanks, as if they should be given a knighthood for sharing.

Like you say, it is just my opinion, I in no way intend to argue. Again, I think your intentions are all for the right reasons, you are sharing for others and not yourself, which again is commendable as you dont seem to be doing it to gather support or praise for yourself.
I was just curious to hear others' views on the validity of these snippets being shared in relation to Queen or Freddie as musicians or performers, and if they cross the boundaries of privacy.

You are right, I am not looking for any praise, or anything whatsoever...as the "founder" of the Queen Hub I only intend to share or give something back to the loyal Queen fans/friends community who are committed to anything related to Queen and/or it's members ...

I also see no problem in sharing a 30sec clip. But two years ago you were ready to trade the full video (at least you offered it to me)... :-) That didn't show much respect to Freddie's privacy :-)
