I agree
When I first got The Game, I assumed it would be one hell of an album, considering how popular it was in the US at one time. But I could almost say it's overrated. The tracks are great but it isn't all I'd ever hoped for. This is not to say the record is a bad one at all, I'm just voicing (typing?) my opinion.

I just expected something amazing as all hell that would keep me listening to it for days. That's not to say I hate it, it just was not what I expected it to be.

While the lyrics are more geared towards Rock & Roll, Save Me and Need Your Loving tonight make up for the more shallow lyrics in Dragon Attack and ANOBTD

Definitely 'The Game',darling;) I love all of their albums, but I am a bit partial to this one as it is indeed what made me love Queen;)

ADATR is pure Queen, they're on the peak of their creativeness, and more "settles" than on the albums before.
The Game still has all Queen stands for: creativity up to sheer surprise, pure rock, great ballads, prefect singing and playing. If they just had left out the synthesizers. They really bother me sometimes. I like the early live versions (1979 - 1981, when they still were 4 on stage) much better.
The Miracle I just don't like. It lacks creativity, the sound is not straight and pure enough for my likings and even the vocals are worse than earlier.
