Damn right.
With so many teenies on here, I feel somewhat old myself. Well, maybe that's because I AM older, but still. If there's anything that's more pathetic than conversing with young ones on online message boards about a band, I have yet to hear it, heh.
Cheers[/QUOTE]
Well dear, i am a teenie, and i feel to old for my own generation...
im not up on anything new because i listen to GREAT ROCK MUSIC (Queen, Beatles etc) all the time. I dont follow any trends, unless you count the fact that im obsessed with 60's/70's rock music and culture. I have an old soul or so im told. And besides, i wish i was older... I dont like my own generation. Everything is hip-hop now. And its not pathetic you're chating with us about this. I love to hear all opinions. I wish i could have been around then, i think i was in a former life and died in a house fire.
I wish i could have experienced it myself.
And i got a few vinyls of ANATO and ADATR for christmas. But i dont have a working turntable. Ill have to track one down! Ive been dying to listen to them in all their glory!
Damn right.

When I was a teenager, I felt the same way. I was a teenager in the early eighties; a time where I loved Queen when they were still live, and yet, I felt like I should have been born about twenty years prior; the time my parents were born, and even before that. But it's good that you have an "old soul", but don't forget that there are things in the present day that are just as priceless and/or jems. Don't forget that.
Cheers

I have many Queen vinyls but i lack a record player..
I had all the Queen album's in plastic but they kept getting scrachted, but that was back when I was passing out necklacess! glad those days are over, but still would't mind reminising with the records, screw the neclaces.Gotcha!
force an 8 year old to play a nes game drink new coke and listen to the beatles or queen.
result to beatles/queen from 8 year old "that shit is from the 80's give me some elvis presley damnit" 13 (in a couple of days anyway) year old queen/beatles and nintendo historian(me)'s response to result: "you know elvis started out in the 50's, the beatles came from 1962(and queen from 71) dumbass!"
no new coke was readily availible
response to nes game. "thhhhhhhhis neeeeedsss better grrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppppppppphhicssssss"
"you don't understand evolution do you, you are an idiot"
this person claims to be a green day fan but told his friends to steal my dads kerry edwards sign because he was a republican!
his best friend even eats pioson berrys off our trees and steals food from our garden.
i plan on moving on to my 20 acres in alabama asap after i graduate from college with one of the following
bissness (bacholers)
programing or culinary artistry (masters)
music (phd)
only culinary would require going to an out of state college, but i don't want to steal the careers of my sisters. well hopefully i can get into shepard college easily.
career plans well i say Boy Scout Camp ownership and manegment.

Im dying to travel and experience sooooo much. And yet i cannot. And its difficult finding these gems. I guess they're diamonds in the rough.

I addressed this numerous times, not sure if I did it on here or not I think I did. Like everything kdj2hot posts it gets ignored. (You fools lol) but anyway I only listen to albums on vinyl, I even have Innuendo and the Miracle on 33 rpm LP (I would have Made in Heaven but it costs way too much so if I wanna hear that it's strictly cd and mp3) logically the sound quality isn't as good. Vinyl is an inferior format. The reason it can sound richer though doesn't have anything to do with lasers or shit but everything to do with the mix. When most artist digitally remaster stuff, the original producers or engineer is rarely involved so some aspects of the tape may be lower and not as prominent as it should be,, other subtle sounds may be absent at all. Usually with Vinyl you're hearing the original mix the way the artist and original producer meant so that's usually why vinyl sounds better than cd's.
