I went to three shows in May and saw them again in October. Paul Rodgers sounded great at all the shows.
He has been consistently awesome, but at the Hollywood Bowl and on my new Tokyo(night 2) bootleg, he is freaking AMAZING!!!
My now vs. then opinion of Paul's voice(limited knowledge)
Good:
1.) He shows a much stronger ability of how to use his voice creatively.
2.) His deep, blues sound is as good as ever.
Bad:
1.) The only negative I have noticed is that his earlier voice sounded better in the higher registry.
2.) No, there is no 2nd item I am aware of.
Paul Rodgers is phenomenal!

You CAN'T compare because they are much different...Freddie was Freddie and Paul never tries to be Freddie
