I always wondered what this was with Metropolix mix, extended mix & the 2nd shelf mix, and with the short ending part of the album.
As far as I see it the ending part of the album is a short track on its own, made especially to end the album properly in style of the track 'Shove it', just like the European version started with it.
So that would make only ONE version of 'Rough justice'
Also as far as I know the 'extended mix' en 'the 2nd shelf mix' are exactly the same, except for (again) the last minute of 'the 2nd shelf mix', which is actually this 'Shove it album ending' or whatever you call it.
Also if I am right the 'Metropolix' mix is almost the same as the regular album version, except that it is very very slightly remixed. As far as I can hear only some reverbs etc are different.
Anyone has different opinions about this?

John, thank you for the posts, and sorry if my questions have been far too confusing in the past, namely my question regarding the proper identification of the original 'Kind Of Magic' extended or edit versions. I just naturally found that interesting and thought I could've gotten some kind of discussion going, but clearly that was the wrong area to bring it up. Regardless, these are very informative and interesting; I always look forward to these.

Some points: "Love lies bleeding" (single version) is not a straight edit of album version, but a little bit different version with some bits, which are absent from album version.
"The Cross" in reality was mostly Roger/Spike work, than the Cross album, one of the evidences of that in the booklet "Thanks to: ......., Spike Edney". I think it's a little bit strange when the Cross thanks Spike Edney... (Just imagine "Innuendo" sleeve: "Special thanks to Freddie Mercury") :)

This was a German (not Dutch) TV show and it was called
4 Gegen Willy (it means "4 against Willy")
I think I alsmost never saw this correct because the title of the show is so unusual and makes no sense for no-German speakers.
In 1987 the "Magic Years" video documentary was released. Would you add it to your list althought it's not really music? It has some rare live video footage, for example WWTLF in Knebworth 1986 which was not released anywhere else.

But I now know how Brian must feel when something written a long time ago is resurrected to make a new point to-day. I guess some of the minor wording or fringe ideas may 'change' with time - BUT the main central idea remains.
Therefore, perhaps Brian DID get the title of the album wrong, but at the same time - his central point regarding 'My Fairy King' would still be perfectly valid.

As you know, I am trying to learn a little German - so I am now glad the title did not make sense to me (as this means that I am not as stupid as I thought I was for believing this to be Dutch!).
As for the video - I will certainly add this to the list. I have been so focused on looking at different musical versions and formats, I completely neglected to include this gem in my research. (See how easy it is to become so centred on one aspect, that we can be blinkered to others?).
Again, this is something I think Queenzone does well, and why I run these collections in the first place. As I said above, I am very flattered by the Yoda comparison, but in truth, I am just like everyone else in trying to 'find a more correct truth'. Personally, I have never heard of either 'Woe' or 'The Giraffe Song'. I would think both are very unlikely as 'ANATO' was a very long and expensive album to make. In fact, home demos like '39' and 'Good Company' were worked on BEFORE taking into the studio.
Under those conditions and pressures, I find it hard to believe that they would have expended any energies on tracks which were anything other than destined released versions.
Unfortunately, for whatever twisted reason, there are those out there who love to invent such rumours - and before long, these rumours are accepted as fact. One of the things I have tried to do here, is keep the record straight and dismiss such rubbish for what it is.
You will also find other serious collectors with the same attitude, so I find it strange that this title appears on a solitary internet site.

John, i have this single releaseed in 2000 to promote the Boxset and i haven`t seen it in the other topics - Ultimate Collection 2000 part 1, 2, Freddie Box, so here it goes.

Taken from Freddie Mercury "The solo Collection", 10cd & 2DVD definitive book and boxset. (528 047 2)
3- Thierry Lang- Guide Me Home (piano Version)
Taken from the album "Guide me Home"
(529 722 2).
4- Enhanced Section
Includes trailer for Untold Story and a menu with information about the contents of the Boxset.
The only thing new here is the enhanced section to promote the boxset.
I only included here because it`s a more recent topic, and you can add to the U.C.2000 or leave it here. If this is already repetitive information, then sorry for posting it.
