(hijack) Pieter did Erin tell you about the problem I'm having with hooking up my wireless modem at home? I can get the desktop to connect to the internet but I can't get either laptop to. It says I'm connected with excellent signal strength but something about a establishing a gateway and renewing my ip address is screwing up. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks!!![/QUOTE]
if the router has a built-in firewall, you could access it through the network address...and force the ip address of the laptops into the NAT section
also in the webbrowser of the laptops, type in the net address of teh router and see if you can get the router setup page
