I mean, it's all the quality of that VHS that destroys it. I mean if you've got the Jewels docu, there are like 20 minutes of Rio, in outragious quality, and it simply ROCKS!
They wheren't at their best indeed, but they where't bad either. And it is the most glamerous Queen show EVER. OUTREGIOUS costumes (Freddie wearing IAHL wig, the IWTBF outfit). OK. Now I am confused. I have Live In Rio, and it sounds like some of you have Rock In Rio. Were they both 1985? I believe the Rio Festival went for 90 hours, and my Live In Rio sleeve reads that Queen opened the event. Freddie is not wearing his famous I Want To Break Free costume in the one I have.[/QUOTE]
Queen played like 110 minutes both shows. 09.01.1985 and 12.01.1985. On the first night Freddie wore the IWTBF outfit, but because of bad reactions from the press (They said the audience was schocked, wich is actually a lie) he didn't wear them the second night. And they used the version of the second night on the Live in Rio VHS[/QUOTE]
