I tell ya what... hard disk crashes never fail to totally ruin my f-ing life. It happened back in 2002 and I lost a similar set of things - loads or music work, video work and college work. Just getting this track back is like hope to me as I'm planning to send that drive off to get recovered. Cross your fingers, folks!

The dream is over... I anxiously called the recovery company after having sent the drive in on Friday. Looks like the drive has gone for good. They're going to get a Western Digital drive specialist to look at it, but I can only pray that by some miracle they get it working tomorrow morning. Just to lose hope of getting these things back - College work, Queen covers I'd been keeping secret, a friend's band work, two theatre dvd projects, my music work and my Mum's holiday pictures from the last year...all gone, all gone.
Sorry if this seems like attention seeking, but I'm all alone at home and feeling like crap after getting this news back. *Sighs* The ironic thing is that I backed up my friend's band work and not my own. What the heck was I thinking?!
