This one is not fake, this one if from Freddie's pre-Queen days. I think it was posted in RC in the first half of 90s, though I can be wrong.

You're right, it was in RC on an article about The 1960's recordings (part 5: Ibex, Wreckage & Sour Milk Sea). That same article had lots of old pictures of Freddie from 1968-1970...
