I recently saw that there was a documentary called, "Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story." It had comments from family, friends, and the other band members. I think it was made shortly after his death. Anyone ever see it or know where I can find it? Would love to see it. Thanks.
Freddie Mercury Box Set, an obscure and little known release barely discussed and only available for a limited period since 1999.
Check out eBay.
Last night I purchased a couple of DVD items on the "buy it now" option. The vendor claimed they were hard to find and one was the documentary you have mentioned. Vendor only had a few more available though.

That vendor was most likely Trancer, and when he says that there are only a few more available he's lying because he makes the copies himself. Although, it is a great way to obtain copies of this stuff if your HD won't hold it all.

Well, I am sure glad that I taped 2 copies of it when it came on the Trio channel in the US! At least you can be assured that a lot of Queen fans do have copies of it and so you can probably get it fairly easily.
Trancer was the vendor. I hope you aren't going to tell me some horror story about this seller. I hate getting screwed online.

No, he's pretty honest in his dealings, in terms of the advertised product. But he always reports that he only has a few more copies, which is bullshit because he makes them himself.

It's repeated on VH1 from time to time
