k thank u. question though, why does it say that its The worst? How is it so bad?
Because it's a compilation of cut live tracks. What's good about it? Nothing.
Yeah a lot of tracks were cut. I think only 2 were whole. Its a shame really.
It's indeed a worse live album, the most important reason (for me) is that there's almost no 'power', the live at Wembley 'version' has more 'strength'...
The only reason for me to buy it should be the collecting reason...

Okay, I just listened to Live Killers for the first time this afternoon - got the CD for Christmas (along with Freddie's impressive Box Set. YES!!).
Is it just me or is Freddie straining through most of these songs (on Live Killers)?

Why was it released? to make a few quid from the then recent '86 tour. Queen hated live albums its well known Rogers distaste for Live Killers & they were I guess reluctant to release another double live album. Yet it went platinum got to number 3 (uk charts) without any single releases which aint too bad
Heavily edited for me... the only saving grace is the material from Knebworth & the version of 'Bites the Dust (the best recorded live version I've heard from Knebworth) is worth owning it if just for that.. Hindsight is weird everyone pines for the Knebworth show (me included) yet they could have released the whole gig on a 2 cd set back in '86 ah well

The audience's roar at the beginning of One Vision is worth the price of the cd alone. I'm glad I have a soundboard recording of Queen's last show, even if it's very incomplete. In comparison to Wembley, from the point of view of completeness, Live Magic is obviously inferior, but the Knebworth and Budapest performances are far better. Another One Bites The Dust is a killer version, and definitely one of the best.
Also noteworthy is the version of Is This The World We Created from the first night at Wembley. Freddie sings this one with an extra bit of emotion. Really a fantastic version.

i've listened to the Amazon.com samples, and i don't think its THAT bad. Can i ask a question? Where was it edited? During what parts?

Middle section in Bo Rhap, intro to I Want To Break Free, etc. etc. etc.
Just compare length of tracks:
Radio GaGa (Wembley): 5:27
Radio GaGa (LM): 4:26
WATC (W): 4:05
WATC (LM): 2:01
ITTWWC (W): 2:59
ITTWWC (LM): 1:30
I can go on this list...

Hahahaha... well, I haven't analyzed Live Magic so deeply, but I haven't noticed any overdubs yet. Just plenty of cuts.
