i've read somewhere (can't remember where)that iron maiden acted as a support band to Queen

is it true?
when did that hapen

i love watching how such famous bands as iron maiden or status quo are only called 'a support band'..

Maiden wasn't really a support band. They just played the same festival as Queen.
