Hi ladies and gentlemen i was going to mention this on monday but i forgot so i will tell you now
In the news of the world this sunday 22nd there will be a highlander DVD free with the paper.
I will be getting this as this was the first film i saw in the cinema when i was 12 years old back in 1986 and of course liking queen may have had something to do with it, i did have it on video years ago and somehow lost it but i'll have a copy come sunday.
Just thought i let you guys know in case you're interested.
Cheers.

My copy today had Highlander bundled with it. Go back to the shop and let them know Barry
No copies with the "News Of The World" in my neck of the woods... hmmm... :o/
I got one. I looked in 2 shops and there weren't any but then there were loads in another shop.
These offers are often regional

I am in Northern England too, so I am thinking no-one up here must of got one.

Oh dear! I wonder why we Northerners had to go without? I mean the "News Of The World" is a national paper isn't it? Ah well nevermind - better luck next time!

If you look in the paper it has a bit about free DVDs. It mentions Highlander and one of the Conan films free next week, I have a feeling next Sunday we will get Highlander up here. I didn't see any NOTW advert on TV up in the Tyne-Tees region. We will just have to wait and see, I'll ask the newsagent tomorrow just to make sure it wasn't out here today.
OK Barry, I'll keep my eyes peeled! Thank-you. :o)

Not in Ireland though - was looking forward to it, having sold a Region 1 version on Ebay as it didn't play in my old DVD.
Very strange thing I just noticed on the cardboard cover with the DVD - it says songs and music by Michael Kamen, and makes no mention of Queen! I presume the songs haven't been edited out as Who Wants To Live Forever is on the TV trailer, so probably just a cock up in printing?
[QUOTENAME]Barry © wrote: [/QUOTENAME]such_a_jollification I was right, It is in todays NOTW up north. BTW it has no Queen music edited out. :-)

Already got my copy Barry, but thanks ever so much for letting me know! :o)
