can anyone explain what this dvd actually is???
I have no idea! - I must have slept for a few weeks when it came out...

but I read in another topic that there was some great footage from Rio 85 on the jewels dvd that looked alot better than the vhs ?

I can understand your confusion. The Jewels documentary is not the same as the Jewels dvd. The documentary was shown on Japanese tv in 2004 with a lot of concertfootage. The official Jewels dvd contains promo videos.

So, they are simply two different things with the same name. I hope this helps.

There is no 'official' DVD.

There's some great live footage from 78-79 in this documentary, and it has never looked or sounded better.

Don't wait for it to be shared here. If you really want it, then search around the internet, make contacts with people, and get it in a trade.

I'll happily trade it with anybody.
