At first I was sad to hear that THE BEST MUSICAL IN THE WORLD EVER was ending it's reign at the Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Road, London, England, Britain, Europe, The World, The Universe. But now I am pleased because it might come a bit closer to me instead of me having to trail all the way down to London every other weekend. Come on Edinburgh Playhouse! Or The Kings (Edinburgh, not Glasgow).

Will this come to the states? Or has it been here already?

It's been to Vegas, but didn't last that long, I don't think (I'm not sure - I seem to recall it opening in September 2004, and closing a few months after that, but given the high turnaround of musicals in Vegas, it's not surprising that it closed).

Thanks Lester. Maybe they'll try again - this time in NYC. Now, that would be cool.

Absolutely - it's not a musical until it's been on Broadway!

I'm guessing Serry wasn't too thrilled with the show. Eh, Serry?

Definitely he wasn't!
Why not? The music was good, the actors were good. The story was a bit weird, but I liked it.
If story was weird, how it could be THE BEST MUSICAL IN THE WORLD EVER then?
I said I liked it. I haven't seen every musical in the world, but it was pretty damn good. Best I've seen. Even my dad loved it, and he hates Queen.
It's a silly comedy. It's funny, yeah. The music ROCKS bigtime but the story is crap. I know it shouldn't be taken seriously and I didn't. I really enjoyed it. It was the closest thing to a Queen concert I'd had when I saw it in 2002 and it was fun. A great night out, like many people said earlier.
I was The Lion King the following night and I have to say the costumes and the stage props were amazing. A million times better than WWRY. Ok, I'm a Queen fan, so I enjoyed WWRY better, but it's not technically that good. I know it's been very successful but I would be VERY surprised if some Theater or Musicals (not Queen) fan thought it was THE BEST EVER...

It just closed this past November in Veags. So it lasted 15 months.
