Well, it had to happen! I've been toying with the idea of marrying these two for a few weeks now, and finally got round to making a start. Here are two versions, the full monty, and a shorter edit. These might not be perfect, and I'm not sure about the ending of the long version, but let me know what you think:-

the longer one is the best, and your right about the ending i dont think it works.

I think that this is one of your lesser mixes, the part where the 'opera' part starts from BoRhap doesn't really match the ending of the middle part from The Prophet's Song, the same think actually when the BoRhap goes back to The Prophet's part.
But that's just my opinion :)

Thanks Dan. It's still a 'work in progress' at the moment, but maybe it doesn't really warrant further attention...? You can't go pitch changing with this sort of stuff, although I do think that the segue into the opera section marries quite well. Merging back to PS was always going to be a challenge, which is why I initially did two versions.

Not a bad attempt, Simon. But for me these two songs dont mix well at all. Cant quite put my finger on it for some reason. Maybe this time its because the songs deal with entirely different themes....

If I had to pick between the three endings, I would say that the original long version ending was best. Still, you cant please everyone all the time, eh?
