Was watching Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story last week and Jer said he was born on September the 5th 1946. I was sure it was 1945. Which of these is correct? Or it could be neither , I suppose.

By special, do you mean Greg Brooks will be repackaging something and changing it ever so slightly and marketing it as a new product? I smell a cynical cash-in.

I was born four months after the Tribute Concert, so if they ever did do another one I'd be there no doubt.
I wasn't alive to see anything :(

60 years since his birth, and 15 since his death.
There has GOT to be some kinda special event going on.
Either here on QZ (maybe a celebration from September to November?), or via official Queen stuff.
And in a not-too-unrelated note, fellow moustachioed icon Mario has his 25th anniversaty this year.
"It's-a me, Freddie! Ehhhhh-do!"
