Was watching Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story last week and Jer said he was born on September the 5th 1946. I was sure it was 1945. Which of these is correct? Or it could be neither , I suppose.
This can't end well.

One should ANALize the Poetry on page 43, when Oedipus is rollin' in his benzo and he has to bust a cap on some flagrants in the under city http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/image/essay/1
This year is Freddie's 60th Anniversary.

One does not need a crystal ball to deduce something special could be happening.

By special, do you mean Greg Brooks will be repackaging something and changing it ever so slightly and marketing it as a new product? I smell a cynical cash-in.

There should be another Freddie Mercury tribute concert...

I was born four months after the Tribute Concert, so if they ever did do another one I'd be there no doubt.

I wasn't alive to see anything :(

Yea it's '46. I think his own mother would know.

I thought that's what Queen + Paul Rodgers was.

(Rim shot)

We don't see a John Deacon montage do we?
60 years since his birth, and 15 since his death.

There has GOT to be some kinda special event going on.
Either here on QZ (maybe a celebration from September to November?), or via official Queen stuff.

And in a not-too-unrelated note, fellow moustachioed icon Mario has his 25th anniversaty this year.
