Who needs you cover - guitar only

Hi everybody !

Here is my cover of Who Needs You. Because of my old computer and a lack of components, I recorded the guitar parts only.

Thanks! This is quite nice (I won't criticise the few mistakes, as I couldn't do anywhere near as well myself!), but, if you don't mind my saying, as more or less a straight copy, it doesn't really add anything to the original, so it's not all that interesting to listen to. Sorry if that sounds negative - it's always going to be harder to offer comments of these cover versions, as they are so much more personal than the mixes I, and others, have been doing. Hope you take this in good spirit, and remember, it's just my opinion. :)

Shame about all that noise in the background. But apart from that, I really like it. I'm one of those people that doesn't mind if a cover is like the original or not. The fact that someone did -something- is more than that trivial thought! But overall, the quality of your playing and articulation with this cover is what makes it nice to listen to and worth listening to more than once.

Well done! Heck, if you want vocals on it, I'll do 'em!

Don't worry, I agree it's not very personal, but it wasn't my goal. And sorry for the noise, but I recorded with a very bad equipment. Thanks for your comments !

You are a talent on the guitar! I did not mind that there was some "fuzz" regarding the recording itself ... but you are playing extremely well
(i have to admit that you are better on an accoustic guitar then you are with the other guitar parts you recorded, but be sure I dont want to offend you, just to point out my humble opinion)....


I would suggest some of us should get together and form some kind of band ....

???? = bass guitarist
???? = Adam? will you sing?

Funny you should bring this up as I'm already working on something with someone on the forum. But if you all need some singing, I'll give it a shot. I also have access to drums, guitars, a keyboard and a bass.

Heheh I've tried starting something like this before. There was a thread in the Announce section where people were supposed to throw in clips of themselves playing their chosen instruments... unfortunately, didn't amount to anything.

Personnally I'm ok for any song…but my preference goes for older material
