New fan cover: Mark Anderson - My Life Has Been Saved

There is a new fan song on the stage of the champions.

For a change it's an instrumental version by Mark Anderson.

Apart from that, it just sounds like a midi file with some bad/wrong chords in it. Not worth the 4.54MB download size. Consider this before downloading, unless you have broadband to waste!

Too right Mr Fried! Don't worry, I've been recording lead vocals for that one and it's sounding pretty hot. I'm STILL waiting on my bro's to come and do their bits. But my second bro (Ben) is definitely coming to the house on the weekend. He'll finish off his hi-hats fix. I bought some electric drums, so he can use those too. I'll be replacing the drums with some from BFD and they sound wicked hot!!
As for my other bro, Rohan, he keeps telling me he'll record his piano sometime, but he never gets round to it! I'll see if I can jump on it this weekend as my folks are back from a long holiday and he has to bring them back from the airport!

Btw, do you really want people to know what we're working on. I've been dancing round it and only teasing, but if you wanna leave the name up, fair enough.

I think if you record it now it takes at least a year until it appears on the website, so the current version has a long head-start :)

Soundblaster's distorted guitars do not sound particularly realistic IMO. People should consider taking the freedom to arrange the songs in a different way, e.g. replacing the red special solo by a minimoog or saxophone...

Bad news - I managed to get some additional hi-hats to copy and paste as a temp track. But my other brother has not turned up today for the piano stuff. Ach well... I'll try and put something together that'll be a better listen. Especially with a temp lead vocal.

EDIT: My piano playing bro showed up earlier with a broken rear windscreen on his car. So, understandable that he won't be doing any recording today as he's gonna sit and fix it and have to be off fairly quick.
