Does anyone know for sure if the synth sound used in I'm Going Slightly Mad was taken from their actual voices? There are certain parts that sound very much like Freddie.

If you mean the main synth (the one during the intro etc), no. It's just one of the pre-set sounds of the Korg M1, and I'm sure because my father's got one.
