Here a mix I made from Death On Two Legs.

It wasn't much work, but I enjoyed making it.

Hope you like it too, leave comment, good or bad

Which one would you like us to download, lol! Will listen to this later. I've been fiddling about with DOTL myself, but never came up with much, so it will be interesting to see if we had similar ideas.

I too will listen to this (internet is chugging along at the moment) but - previously unavailable demo out, You're the Only One. Despite the fact that most of the lyrics are just Freddie going 'dee dah dah', I reckon we could do something with it!

Just heard this - not bad at all, Dan. Some of the bits from the other track at first don't seem to marry, but it works OK as 'weirdness', in places, and I like the use of the vocal effects on "Shark!". Just one thing, and I found the same myself, and that is the stripped down instrumental sections sound a bit empty, but other than that, an interesting mix, and technically well put together.

I have to agree with Lord Fickle in saying that yes it is technically put together very well, but it does sound like it kind of drags. This is one of my favorite Queen songs, and by no means did you ruin it at all, but I do have to ask what is it that you were going for in this remix?? There are parts that sound very stripped down as Fickle said, however i did like the little bit of the vocal bit of 'Take my Breath Away'...that definatly added a brief bit of texture. I have to admit that I was hoping for a bit of excitement like I find in most of your mixes, but it just wasn't there this time. Though it is a brave attempt for sure. Maybe a bit more reverb and guitar effect tweaks and the such would have given a bit more taste, but otherwise it's not bad!!

Thanks for the comments :)

@ Chefman5150; "This is one of my favorite Queen songs, and by no means did you ruin it at all" Sorry for that ;)

-"I have to admit that I was hoping for a bit of excitement like I find in most of your mixes, but it just wasn't there this time."

That's (probably) because I don't have two different version of the song (except the instr.)
So there would never be big changes in this version.
So I tried to use some parts of other songs :)

Dan, do you mind if I still have a go at this? Not promising anything soon, but might have another try at dissecting the DVD-A.

if it helps, i have an instrumental of DOTL from the eYe (that PC game from the 90's). it might help for any crafting or ripping needed for this song.

Of course, i can't share it here (technically it's official), but i can email it or even make a remix of my own... ;)

No thank you :)

I got "the eYe" game myself, so I have all the instrumental versions :)
