I think that´s the best song i ever heard, i just buy´d the Freddie Mercury DVD collection.

The first time I watched the video,and accually everytime I watch the video I find myself drenched in tears!

I agree. There's so much passion in his voice when he sings that song.

According to the sleeve notes in the solo CD collection, In My Defense was a 1-take recording.

Dave Clark said (of Time and In My Defense) - "I was so knocked out by Freddie's performances on In My Defense, that I asked him if he would like to record the title track. Freddie gave 110% to both songs on every take. He actually 'performed' the song, he didn't just sing it. He performed it as he would have done in front of 100,000 people, in concert - with every ounce of his being. His commitment was quite amazing. Whether it was 10 o'clock at night or 5 in the morning, he always gave it absolutely everything."
