Ok i sat down at my piano ... and 5 minutes later I figured it out (it's not too complicated)
"You are the Only One"
verse:
d-minor , A(7) , Bb , G-min (or Gmin7)
d-minor, A(7), Bb , C
Chorus
F, a-minor , d-minor (Bb transition chord)
F, a-minor , d-minor
C , G , Bb , F , Bb , Bb (with C in the bass)-> C
The second chord of the verse (A7) can be easily mistaking by Amin, but if you here closely it's realy not a minor chord...
I myself tend to use chords like Gmin7 instead of Gmin or chords like C-add2 (thats a chord containing C-D,G). Freddie's style is more in the "plain" minor/major chords without adding to much other notes to the chords.... Well it's up to anyone to play it also a bit in their own style I gues...
The chord Bb is the same as A# by the way!
Anyway, I am thinking of recording the piano part with a nice intro professionally as said before.
I also tried to play the chorus part in a more bluesy way (with breaks between the chords). I think in the end this could have also been a gospel kind of song) ...We will probably never know what Freddie intended to do with it
