TOO MUCH LOVE WILL KILL YOU VERY ORGINAL DEMO "BELL BOY TAPE"

This very very rare demo is sung by Brian May. It is the very first and different version of the song which gives us a very nice inside-look and other look into the creation of this wonderful song.

The history is that the original tape, recorded by Elizabeth Lamers, who helped into the writing of the text of the song, was given to one of the guys of the hotel. He then sold it to a privat collector, but before this happened a copy was made. The original master was a very simple & normal audiocassette tape.

After reading it, it seems to me like the year it was recorded was never mentioned.

Could it be 1988?

In my mind there was a few posts which incl. "The Bell Boy Tape". Is this a better quality version?

Fried Chicken: As the legal owner of the 'Bell Boy Tape', I can guarantee this was indeed given - and NOT stolen.
Why are you so negative - especially about something you know nothing about?

Maybri: Yes a better quality version does exist, but, it has never been released, actually, the full version of the tape has never been released either.

Other tracks on the tape include Brian's 'Sleepy Blues' and 'Moody Keyboards' (which has been confused with Brian's MacBeth Suite - but it is not).

The tape was recorded in L.A. sometime between 1984 - 1986.
