It was Greg. And I don't want to repeat what he said about some respectful QZers.

Sorry Linda, but this may have been before your time - but I can guarantee 100% it was Greg.

Whoever has the book- take a look at New York (Uris Theater) 1974 set list. There we see SEVEN SEAS OF RHYE and WHITE QUEEN. But it's not justa mistake that really makes me laugh. Go two pages ahead and see the text about SHEER HEART ATTACK tour- there it says that "White Queen" and "Seven Seas" are also new to the set". I'll keep'em coming, it's a good laugh...
[QUOTENAME]Jazz 78 wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Nice job!!! Keep it up!!! Brooks did to us Queen fans what Salmon Rushdie did in the late 80's with his book The Satanic Versus. He pissed off the entire Muslim world and they put out a "hit' on his ass. Maybe we should put our own personal "fatwah" on Brooks. Hey Fenderek, if I can help in anyway please let me know. I've gone to a few shows back in the 70's and I'll gladly give any info that I possibly can.
Any help will be more than appreciated, actually :) It might be a good idea to correct few things on those pages, here at QZ... Will think about the best way to do it...!

A big project. Can't tell anything yet. Stay tuned!

You know a lot about the Jazz tour, right? If I remember well, you had some nice and useful information about it. Could you please mail me? My e-mail: superrick20@hotmail.com
I'm busy with a Queen project and maybe you can help me!
Cheers.

I think that posting a link to this topic on QOL would be an excellent idea ... for educational reasons of course ...
I would do it, but I very rarely visit there, and I never bothered to re-register there so I can post there.

Hello Rick and Fenderek. You will both be hearing from me very soon and hopefully I can help you guys out. If you remember, I posted recently that my cousin Joe was their lighting director for a few of their tours in the late 70's so I have a little bit of info that may help in your projects. If I get stuck in answering I may need to contact him in New York to get answers but that can be very difficult because though he no longer tours he's still in the business at some capacity and extremely busy. But I'll gladly help you out in any way I can.

Guys, why are we all working separately?????
Tom - I have already gone through Greg's book and found the hundreds of errors myself. If you want to go ahead and find them all yourself, then go for it, but I'm pretty sure I found all of them. I can't wait to get them all into xls format so I can count them!

It's fun ;)
More seriously- two seperate eyes may find something that other two escaped... I'm sure I WON'T find anything you haven't but... will it hurt to do it?
Anyway- I'm more and more into it, seriously- if there's any project, if there's anything happening, count me in, I have enough of the lame job passed as official...

Alright, then have fun with that! If/when you need anything, you know where to find me.

Everything that is WRONG with Queen is illustrated here.
The FAN BASE is far more astute and knowledgeable than anyone within the organisation; people being employed by the band to make decisions take no account of anyone with a greater knowledge as it appears that would be completely embarassed.
Would the ANATO 30th debacle have happened?
The Queen Live book wouldn't have happened.
I dread to think what what this book about Brian's memorabilia is going to turn out as.
Simple solution is to just stop buying anything until the madness stops - I certainly have.
