WOW Was it really 1991???

This event, the Brit awards took place in February 1990, I believe it was the last public event Mercury attended to.

I may be mistaken, but I thought Freddie's last public appearance was when he announced he had aids, or was the announcement not necesarily a public anouncment?

I dont think Freddie would actually come out of his house the day before he died he was too ill to even get out his bed, let alone his house....

that's really eerie, "thank you goodnight." it sounds like the end of a concert almost :(

gREAT to see that clip again i remember it well and i was really really hoping they would perform but it never happened.

Shame and yes that would have been his last public appearance feb1990.
