See, I'm confused. On another thread it was said that Freddie called Dave Richards to tell him he was going to record the last verse of "A Winter's Tale." Then Richards heard a few days later that Freddie was back in England...in that Nov. 9-ish timeframe.

But that was something that someone on the board had said. Pinning down that Richards actually said it would be another matter...

The location of Brenda's interview must be Metropolis Studios, as they are in Chiswick.

I haven't got David's quote here, but what he says is that they did Winter's Tale chorus before jumping to the middle eight of Mother Love. Some days later Fred rang him up and went to record the last verse of A Winter's Tale, then a couple of days later he was back in London and died about a week afterwards. In that case, as I said sometime before in this forum, Winter's Tale is actually the last thing he recorded although perhaps Brian wasn't present at the time and therefore Dr May thought Fred hadn't recorded anything after the last Mother Love session.

I was randomly searching the web for totally unrelated Brian stuff...

...I found an interview with David Wigg for the Sunday Express, April 28, 2002, in which Brian says that the third verse of "Mother Love" is taken from his demo. This interview is on his Brian's website.
