Philadelphia Tailgate Party/Meetup

HELLO PHILADELPHIA!

You want info on the Philadelphia meetup? We'll be tailgating indoors at McFadden's. It's within staggering distance of the gig. All are welcome, which means QOL people, QZ people, Queen Fan Club people, Breakthru people, Queen fans, Paul Rodgers fans, etc.

The management at McFadden's is expecting us and they are going to have some drink and food specials for us if you are on the guest list, such as $3 U Call Its (well drinks, house wine, domestic bottles, and domestic drafts) as well as half-price appetizers and a Queen theme (posters, music, and videos) going that night. This is VERY cool of them.

To be part of our group and to be eligible for the reduced price specials, you need to get on "THE LIST" that I will be providing them. When you arrive at McFadden's, if you are on the list, you will be issued a bracelet identifying you as one of our group so you can get in on the specials. So . . . You might want to give them a call and see if you think it's a good fit for your daughter. It is a bar, but they do serve food. As far as I'm concerned, kids are just as welcome as anyone else, and I met some great kids at the 2005 Q+PR gigs. Kids rock! I sat next to a guy who brought his 8 year old son to the Meadowlands gig. I taught the little guy the ga-ga arms for Radio Ga Ga. Ryan and Julian in Aruba turned out to be huge Brian May fans. We had a blast. I'm bringing my niece to the San Diego show. It will be her first rock concert.

*note to self: remember to teach niece the ga ga arms.

You know I'll be there!! I'll have m'lady Theresa & great friend Art & his wife nadine w/ me. I don't know when we're getting there. Probablly not before 5:30. We all work that day & Art & wife are driving in from Allentown. Call me Cindy so we can arrange to meet up the week before in DC.

You can take your kids to McFadden's - that's never a problem. Half the people in there before Phillies games have kids with them.

Just a reminder to everyone going in Philly - there's also a Sixers game the same night. I'm sure there will be some b-ball fans in the house at some point, too.

Will I be at the tailgate at McFadden's - I'm not sure yet. I'll be sure to get in touch with you, Crazy, if I do.
