F*ck off, Metallica (?)

When JD is introducing Metallica at the FM Tribute, both RT and BM give the "get f*cked" gesture (watch the DVD again).

What's going on there? Is that meant for Metallica? Or is there something sinister going on in the crowd?

"An american band who won all the Grammy`s in this year" (now Roger made the gesture). I think it`s about prizes or about the band.

Did Roger have a beef with the Grammy people or something? Or is he just anti-awards in general?

I think they`re just kidding with John, because he`s very shy. You know Brian and Roger, and to think that they could have been desrespectfull with a band on that day... C´mon!!

I think it was more of an applause to John because he very rarely (if ever) made a speech to Queen fans.

I can see Roger being anti-Awards and (dare I say) anti-industry. Brian at least is friends with Metallica (they did cover SCC). I really hope it was some (well deserved) Grammy-bashing.
