Peter Straker albums?

I have a "semi-official" Queen CD called "Pre-Ordained" with some Smile tracks and, inexplicably, what appear to be several of the tracks from Peter Straker's "This One's On Me"! I thought when I first listened to it that the vocals were clearly not Freddie, and now I know why! Perhaps whatever company produced this CD saw the publishing was Mercury Songs and just went with it. As soon as I dig it up I'll confirm the track listing, but these must be the Straker songs.
You don't have to be bigger. Just louder.

Rock stars - you just gotta believe them!!!

*sigh* so...
So far I've got Brian May giving me untrue information about quite some things because of his fading memory, Peter Straker just plain telling me lies about a) Freddie's involvement AND b)him having his own record...? Maybe that last bottle of wine, realy was too much for that old queer...

...I can still hear Brian's rants... Sure Brian, OF COURSE it's al THE MEDIA's fault!
That's right, I must have misunderstood!
Nothing since 1992? What has he been up to since then?
He's been doing small theater, plays, revue's, cabaret... stuff like that. He does not want to be in the 'pop-' industry anymore.

...Unless he's been telling me lies about that too... :-S

No - I think that's fairly accurate!
But no worries, no one is dissing your reputation, it's just that rock stars say one thing in one interview - and something else in another, and I well believe that final bottle of wine had something to do with it!
"Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."
Thanks John - but in this case, I'm not happy about it because we did not talk to eachother about this subject in an 'interview'. Peter and I talk privately...
Oh and HE paid for the wine! ;-)
The PRE-ORDAINED CD is not "semi-official" (what does that mean, after all???), but just a pirate release.
Wilki We must all HEAR to believe

And a bloody poor one at that!
"Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."

In Peters' wet dreams Freddie played on Peters album I suppose....But altough Freddie is not playing on the album I really like it...
And still I am sure that I can actually HEAR Freddie in some harmonies and on a piano part... :-)
Maybe you're right...some parts sounds a lot like queen...

That's what I thought too. But I was suspending my disbelief that, just maybe, it was Freddie on an off-day...
